OK, just got back from being a 'spectator' along with my BearCub during the filming of "Warrior".

We had a good time. We were there from 5pm until about 11:30pm.

We Was offered to stay until 5am and get paid to be an extra, but since we both are going to be driving up late tonight to FC, we passed.

Got in a lot of crowd shots. Also did a lot of cross camera walking, both in front, thru and behind the group of players and other 'spectators.'

Signed an NDA  so I can't give away what exactly was filmed, but there was a line in there that was just stupid. =)

Estimated budget was $2.5 million (according to IMDB) but there were LOTS of people and equipment on this movie so I think it is going to be over budget. =)

Had a decent 'catered' meal and was told that I could sit with the cast and crew instead of having to go outside and down the wet stairs (and then the woman turns to another and says something like "I told the older gentleman that he could sit here." buh =P

It was filmed at the College of the Canyons in Valencia CA.  If it is before 5pm Thursday, 1/22, and you want to be in the movie, go to BeInAMovie.com and scroll down to almost the end of the page and click on the Warrior link.  They asked us to come back tomorrow so I feel that they will have some need for additional people.. and they film rain or not.

While I wish I could be up in SJ at FC right now, I do have something 'interesting' to do tonight.

My BearCub and I are heading over to a movie location to be a 'spectator' in the crowd cheering on a lacross team for the upcoming movie "Warrior" featuring Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Gabrielle Anwar, Cary Elwes, Adam Beach, Chris Potter, Daniel Booko, among others.

Synopsis from IMBD: "In shock and denial over his Marine father's death in battle, star Lacrosse player Conor Sullivan, always a maverick and a hothead, starts acting out in self-destructive ways that have his mom, Claire, at her wit's end. But arduous training in a wilderness Lacrosse camp under the tutelage of his dad's old combat buddy, Sgt. Major Duke Wayne, opens Conor's eyes to the true meaning of maturity, sportsmanship and manhood."

Not sure if they are still taking signups for tonight, but they are for definately for tomorrow.

Scroll down the page until you see the "Warrior" section. They are filming tonight and tomorrow night (Thursday) from 5p-11:30p not too far from Magic Mountain.

Forbidden Zone Cover courtesy of Amazon.com   Nothing like a nice good Thankgiving movie...

Well, this isn't it =)

This 1980 movie showcases the "Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo".

'The ultimate cult movie is this musical sci-fi funhouse of scatalogical humor, nudity and insane plotting that involves a sixth dimension ruled by a little king (Herve Villechaize) with big appetites. Oingo Boingo frontman and future movie and TV-music composer Danny Elfman co-stars as Satan in this "hip, campy, kinky, loud and crass" ("L.A. Weekly") exercise that has also been called "the 'Citizen Kane' of underground movies" ("Film Threat").'  Also features Susan Tyrrell as the Queen.

This movie was directed by Danny's older brother Richard Elfman.

It will be on "Showtime Beyond" on Thursday (as well as on Nov 26) and on Flix on Friday.

I won a couple tickets to see Good Luck Chuck tonight.  I asked [profile] redhaski to go, but he had school work (good pup!)

I offered them to [profile] whyttygrgrl to take someone, but that didn't happen, so we both went to go see it.

It is funny... and you HAVE to stay thru the credits =)

That is all.
