Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah!

Here is a list of Christmas Cards that I got...

• SMCI - A recruiting company that turned me down over 15 years ago since I didn't have a degree. (Yes, I get a card EVERY year from them.)

• Something from my BearCub (he said he had something for me, which I will get later today)

Yeah, just another typical Moger Christmas.  At least this year I don't have to sit around while everyone is opening my gifts to them and then they realize that they didn't get me anything. (Yeah, it has happened.)  I know that I need to send cards to get cards, so that isn't that big of a deal.

Now, while it wasn't exactly a Christmas present, I did get semething nice this month. Some friends chipped in so I could get to see my kids earlier this week. My son, K3, had his 8th birthday! So I got to go up and celebrate it with him, K1, K2 and C.  It was nice seeing everyone.

What did I want for Christmas? Stuff that no one (even I) can afford this year.

• Xbox360 Wireless Control (as mine was lost) ($50)
• Xbox360 WiFi Adapter (as the router is 50+ feet away) ($100)
• Xbox360 VGA Cable (with 3.5mm adapter, since I don't have a TV) ($40)
• Netflix account (1DVD/unlimited level so I could watch stuff via xbox... but need the stuff above first) ($9/mo.)
• 250GB+ Hard Drive (as a hard drive died and I lost a bunch of stuff.) ($60)

Besides the hard drive, I don't really need any of that stuff, so it really doesn't matter.

My BearCub said that he would try to take me to FC next month, but I don't expect that to happen due to the cost. With room, food, gas and registration that is about $450 for the two of us. I can't afford to go as I don't even have enough $ to buy the hard drive that I need.
