Going to Cali...Fur

I hoof been real busy with work. Got a little bit of time to see some furiends over the past couple weeks and met some new ones. Realized today that I haven't read LJ all month!

This evening I am heading out from Sacramento to drive to Costa Mesa for CaliFur this weekend.

Anyone want to ride with a moger?

I am leaving about 6pm from near the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento...driving down the 99 and/or the 5. should get into the area around midnight - 2am range.

Should be fun... get to meet some furiends that I have only talked to online.

I am going to miss you. The bed is going to be soooooooo empty without you. You are my heater. I guess I will have to find someone to warm up the bed instead of you. LOL

Nah, noone is going to cuddle with a Pyger. I will be fine. My crunch pillow and bunny blankie will keep me comfy.

I am leaving at 6pm... based upon it being Friday and Cinco de Mayo... figure there will be some traffic... so I should get there around midnight (6 hours)... if I have to stop for whatever reason, I gave myself a 2 hour window. =)

Yup... I took 5 down and back.

I use a service called MyTraffic.com that does phone reports... that helped so I could make an informed decision as well... beause if the 5 is blocked... it can be slower... and it was blocked on the way home but just for about 10 minutes.

Also, the Pyger gave me additional live update information =)

Plan for next time: Minivan, drive down Thursday night, drive back Monday =) Was no fun getting to bed at a;lmost 2am.
