Date: 2006-02-18 07:02 am (UTC)i missed the first half hour or so of the first part, but (i think) i got the rest and the second half where she REally flipped out.
I mean, i love her so much, and i pray to god for her strength and faith to stay strong and that she be transfigured and take back to him where she can feel his love and strength, and it won't be soon enough for that to happen.
1) "i know i must sound like a crazy lady" -> indicates a sense of insecurity and disbelief of her own faith/religieon. People who believe in there religieon don't say that. Its folks who have lack a sense of conviction to their beliefs that start saying that. (or who aren't strong enough to defend themselves and try to deflect any 'blows' on their person or personality.)
2) She treated the 'pyschic' as a human being, until she was told that he was a pyscic. Then she simply flipped out irrationally. If she was truely a believer of God and living righteously, she'd have been warned before she met him that something was 'wrong' before she even got to the radio station.
3) She professes to believe in God. She thus professes by inclusion of assumption of doctrinal teachings to find materialism a sin. But look at how she allocated the money! Pure, unadulterated Materialism! The 'Pagen witch lady' did a better job in allocating the money for none materialistic reasons then Margareete ever could.
4) On camera, she ripped up the letter and tore the check up into pieces, then after filming was complete, she renegged on her convictions and accepted the money! Hipocrite!
5) her "friends" from church asking 'witch lady' if she believed in God, or a "higher power"... My question is: Whats the difference between calling Him GOD, and calling Him a "Higher Power"???
okay, i'll shut up now. but gawd that woman scares the crap out of me.
and btw, HI :) nice to meet ya :)
