Not in the mood for a post.
But since I am trying to post each time I am on LJ, I am going to post (and I already commented on one journal)
I worked on the No on 8 campaign.
I did some training dealing with the poll campaign that was done in Ventura County.
I was at two polls all day handing out a No on 8 ("Unfair. Wrong.") cards (that also had names of others that were no on 8 including upcoming President Obama and the Govenator)
I will post more later.
Lot of hard work.. by many people.. and in the end about 400,000 votes was the difference. so close.
Side note: WOW... what I thought was just a LGBT ban in Arkansas wasnts... "in Arkansas voters voted to bar all unmarried people, LGBT or straight, from adopting children or serving as foster parents." sucks.
It isn't over.
