Sorry about the big honking HRC post. Tried to LJ cut most of it and it just didn't happen.
It still isn't over. California (and most counties from what I understand) have not certified the results, as well as their being up to 3 million ballots that have not been counted.
Today, 3 lawsuits were filed on various aspects of Prop. 8.
The most interesting one for me so far is the one from Gloria Allred who represented a lesbian couple in front of the California Supreme Court earlier this year.
"The court must hold that California may not issue licenses to non-gay couples because if it does it would be violating the equal protection clause, "Allred said at a news conference.
