Verizon Wireless Free Ringtone on NYE

VerizonWireless (VZW) is giving all its customers a small gift for the New Year, and if you text "Tone" to 2007 on New Year's Eve then you will get instructions on how to download your free ringtone. You can visit the Verizon Get It Now site to see the song choices available for ringtones.

Most every song will be available during this one day free promotion, so if you are a Verizon customer don't forget to send the text message on Sunday, December 31st, to get your free ringtone. (It is from 12:01am-11:59pm Sunday, December 31, 2006. I believe based upon the time zone you are located in.)

I make my own ringtones. I gots me a USB cable for my phone and BitPim. So I can make my own stuff.

Would be much cooler if they did free Get It Now downloads, not just ringtones, but applications.
