It has been progress sure. This was the measure to really put it over the top though. I am still recovering. I still cry from time to time. Please don't stop campaigning for our rights. Worst case scenario is that there will be a new initiative written by us in the next election. This time we can be ready by raising so much money anticipating it. We can have good quality, bright, positive materials. We can see where we need to work. For now though, we need to show the people around us that we exist, are not bad people. Show them that we need marriages to express our love. A ballot initiative for us is a steep climb because the amendment is already done. People who might have been on the fence about amending the constitution would vote against us because we would also be re-amending the constitution. We need to convince them that we really appreciated their vote last time and to make their voice heard again. Black voters will once again be at the polls because Barack will be the incumbant. We need to really emphasize civil rights with them and make sure they know that the children are not in jeopardy.

Also, we need a campain to the other counties not in the cities. Almost all counties in the inland portion were heavy red states and heavy Yes voters. 86% of republicans voted Yes.

I would be more than happy to set up a residency in California just so I can register and put in ONE vote.
