Friends Only Along With Everyone Else

I get so few comments I am not sure if anyone even reads what I post anymore.

One of my IRL friends just cut back on his list of LJ Friends using the following criteria....

I have deleted everyone who hasn't replied to my last three entries, I have not talked to on AIM/YIM in the last seven days, or I have not talked to on the phone or seen in person in the last month.

But I wasn't really sure that was a decent criteria for me to use. I needed something a bit more robust so...

I have deleted everyone from my friends list who did not reply on every entry, has not talked with my via IM, that I haven't met, that I haven't talked to on the phone, or have met in person at any point in time.

Yes, basically I have deleted everyone from my LJ friends list as a few hundred was a bit much. If for some reason, you wish to be added back on to my friends list, please reply.

Note: This is not a way for me to change my LJ into "Friends Only" and then say "Oh, yeah, I post all the time but I guess you are not on my friends list" :-)  I will still post.

well, I just did the same for AIM, MSN, Skype and Y!M.

I am starting over. If I really have to get ahold of someone, I am teh Stalker Moger remember? I will find them =)

As people chat with me and such, I will add them back. It isn't like you are going to miss anything. =)

It also doesn't make me have to think about what someone might think if I leave them vs. not leaving them. I also know that I had a couple of furs on LJ that don't want to talk to me anymore... just starting with a clean slate.

It isn't like you are gonna miss much of anything at all anyways. About the only thing that I made private constantly was my voice posts and I have not done a private one in awhile (and a real long time since any of them made any sense.)

Actually, you can get to know anything you would like about me. Pretty much just about everything about me is already on teh intarwebs.

However, please read carefully.... just because I cleaned the slate, doesn't mean I won't add you back =)

As the post said, if you want back on my friends list, please reply.

Also, I nuked my IM clients, so if you would like to chat with teh moger, please just IM me and I will add you back in.

Would like to get to know you a bit better too (that is before you lose so much weight that you just fade away!... and you thought I wasn't reading huh?)

Well I'd prefer to remain on yours..though if you read mine you'd know why I havn't been around, but I havn't been online at all, Period. So I havn't checked in on anyone's journal since I left back in September..I just gotta work some things out (job crap) before I can feel comfortable enough coming back on regularly or semi regulary.

I just got overwhelmed with all the contact stuff for everyone and a lot of people on my LJ and on my IM clients were from the last few years, and were not even talking to me much.
